Khs Lightweight on a budget

If you're 'flexible' about period correctness a later Dura Ace or Ultegra rear mech can be quite light. 7800(185g), 7700(195g), 6600(205g) for example and they should be fine for up to 28 teeth.
I am a little bit flexible, the overall look and feel of the bike should still be retro. For example I wont be using v brakes but modern parts like tires, maybe seatpost or bottom bracket are fine.
I recently build a 3x mtb with a short cage and srp pivot bolt, might do the same for this one.

When I built my IFT (see signature) I was disappointed by how heavy the stem was, but it matches the fork/is OEM so it stayed. Mine came in at 9.69kg.
Sorry but I cant work out the signature bit, is it a link to your build thread?
aesthetics are worth something as well!

Bummer!
Found a crack in the bb shell, is it always the same with these lightweight alloy frames or is it just me having bad luck? Well at least I only Just started sanding and have not wasted hours of sanding, more sanding, polishing and even more polishing 😜.
This project is on hold for now.
If youre in need of a marin mech hanger give me a shout!
