First proper ride - its a bit small!

Didnt take any allen keys with me so suffered the cramped cockpit. Adjusted stuff when I got home.

Plush rear end let down by so-so forks. Climbs and accelerates nicely. Needs wider bars.

I like these bikes, I actually prefer the Elite frames though (think Shaun palmer type construction ).
Had a brief fling with an FSR ground control, but I preferred the look of the Elite.
Don't be afraid of going disc. I only had to file down a nut to stop it interfering with the rotor. No big deal.
It's the disc adapter and front mech that are the obstacles.

Front mech I gave up on and went 1x10 in the end, which, weight wise, makes a huge difference - I'm a lot happier for it!
I'm looking to go bigger on forks though. 100mm is just a tad too short for my liking. 120mm is where I'm thinking the sweet spot is.
Cant go wrong with zoochies. In fact that's all I've run on these frames so far and don't have any complaints.
