I'd driven back from London and got in late so it was a case of staying up to win the auction!

Hello

As far as brake blocks go stick with Kool-Stops. By far the best that I've used, they're nice and soft so tiny bits of flint/stone don't actually get stuck in the pad (and then continue to wear away at the rim) but are 'bounced' off, so to speak.

+1 for Koolstop pads.

Though you could always go for ceramic coated rims...
