Be nice if they'd offer something more absorbant like the cheapest pig iron they could source from an early 1900ish shipwreck, I understand that there'd be a surcharge but sure what's the harm in another 200 pounds

A bit unfair I think. Surly uses the same material, and its no gaspipe. As for price, the Midnight Special is comparable and its nearly twice as much. And has bleedin discs..

Surly, as much as I love them, are also overpriced I'm afraid
