If they're turning, I guess they started back in February, when the article was first posted!

Two Things:

1. The Hunter in the lead photo is one of my very favorite bikes ever. I love everything about Rick, his bikes and whole ethos. If I could have one guy build me something custom, it would be Rick Hunter.

2. I'm all for ATB, right up until the point where everyone starts listing their old tat on eBay as "ATB" and adding an extra 25% to the already inflated price.

Seems to me that the more labels we have, the more trends there are to follow, the more we end up paying for old bits and bike stuffs.

I think ATB will just be reclaimed/rediscovered to sell yet another category of bikes. This article is just an early shot across the bows to test the market.

ATB is hardly a new category..! When i started in shops it was ATB.....MTB was the new kid on the block...more aggressive more focused. ATB was exactly what they are saying.....a bike for all terrains....

Just to add one more thing:

ATB actually makes a lot more sense for the type of things I like to ride, and where I like to ride them.
