I referenced your photos really quick. Where exactly is that hairline crack...under the top tube where the seat stay welds are?

Hi! Yeah where the two seat stays meet to form the triple triangle, please make sure you check everything with a fine fine tooth comb it’s pretty gutting if you find something like this too late

I did a pretty thorough inspection--including the areas you mentioned. This isn't the first project in the queue, but I'll definitely notice when I break it down and polish before building to spec. It's a nice piece of machinery!

Bought a '96 Xizang from stevede. It's a 18" and with serial GTX9650.

A fellow retrobike collector here in Finland has a 1992 model with serial G18100.

So I have a 1995 model. The I’m believing takes a 27.2 seatpost but it pretty tight in there... I was thinking perhaps a 27.0 would be better... any suggestions?
