GT Avalanche 1998 - Project "Tequila Sunrise 2.0"

Last week i changed the setup a bit by putting a drop bar instead of the flatone to use it like a monstercross-gravelish bike.
Changed the stem into a shorter one to get a comfy and good reach at the shifters/brakelevers.
The shifters/levers have longe cable pull ratio and in combination with Vbrakes it was not a good match , but i really wanted to keep the XTR Vbrakes because they do a real good job so somebody informed me for using Travel agents/Problem solvers , they double the cable pull at the vbrakes.
So i installed them and it's perfect, still have very good power on the brakes and i could let the vbrakes on the bike.
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea , but i really love how it rides now .

You gotta love the 90's GT paint jobs and you have done a splendid job at recreating this on your bike, looks stunning!
