   sorry but i couldn't resist ;) and tbh i'm not a fan on full suspension either although tbh i've only ever owned one and never been impressed enough to ride another one ..

Re:

Had some time to get the bike closer to finished today.

Managed to sneak the stem indoors a couple of night's ago, having lacquered over the new decals.

Put it next to the radiator to harden up a bit. Result.

Bad photo, it looks very orange there!

Fitted the bars and controls,

Along with the chainset and chain,

There's not a lot more satisfying than a new cassette and chain on a build, is there?

Here it is as of now, just needs cables and it will be ready to ride!

Looks very low, due to my home made bikestand!

Nearly there!

Hmmm, not really up on my bottle cages, but a red one or even dark blue to match the blue on the headtube would look good :) i was thinking just one of those plain metal ones but as the frame is "chunky" maybe a thicker plastic zefal type one :?

Looks superb Mike and that stem looks great by the way ;) and as for the bottle cage how about something like this as i think it should suit the frame nicely unless your after something more retro ,

Re:

Found the time today to finish this build.

Cabled it up, once I'd worked out how to route them. Two bosses on one side - one for a hydraulic hose - and one the other.
Decided on a Tacx Tao bottle cage, as I had one to hand and I think it looks good on there!

After which, a few adjustments. Now here it is, ready to ride!

And what most people will see of it,

Initial ride around the block reveals I need some air in the forks!

Front end feels very stiff, due to the low front end and hugely oversized stem!

I like it though, hope you all do, as well! Most likely booked it's ticket for Mayhem next year

T' end.
