You're a lucky man! Should have bought a lottery ticket instead. Hope you have a swift and full recovery. The 5w30 will not give long term lubrication. It will need ball barring grease.

I had a look online but couldn’t work out which one to buy so watched some YouTube vids on how to clean it . I have sprayed wd40 in it to clean it through and then poured some 5w30 engine oil in to and it which was the only lubricant I had about and it seems to be working fine .

It’s a picture of my CT scan. I came off my BMX at the local skate bowl 2 months ago . I fell around 15 foot onto my head (no helmet) and broke by skull and had a bleed on the brain so had to have my skull opened to fix the bleed . Scary stuff . BMX has been sold so this is a new way of having fun on a bike .

So the fix didn’t work so I decided to drop the bike off at Gloucester bike project for them to sort it .
