IE8 has private browsing as well.
Anyways.
If you just browse and use the internet as normal than any browser is fine, just try them to see which suites you.
If you like to fiddle then Firefox is for you, not so much the 'firefox' part but the addins people make for it. They are vast in numbers and usefulness compared to Internet Explorers and even Opera. I'll be honest though and say I've not used Opera (other than Opera Mini) for quite some time as i've never really liked it. Always seemed to fussy an interface.
I've been using both IE8 and FF3.5 (and pre releases) for quite some time now. Happy to use both.
