Falcon Panther resto (FINISHED!)

Re: Falcon Panther resto begins: watch this space

Best of luck with the work....especially with that paint :) A tip for the chrome is foil with Lemon and white vinegar. A cloth wheel bit to a drill and some metal polish all on a shoestring budget will get the best from the metal work and kill off the rust.

Re: Falcon Panther resto continues: first coats of primer

And here is part three, shot a few days ago, where I got some primer on the forks, today is my day off work, so I shall be filming part 4 today :) Weather doesn't look promising so I may just do mechanical things today and wait for a better day to paint, did some calculations and it looks like we're going to be over budget as well as over time :/

Re: Falcon Panther resto continues: paint (see latest post)

Some more old footage, I fixed the paint run and got the decals on, then got it lacquered.

Another Falcon update from September, paint run fixed, decals on, soon we can rebuild her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LScsBOKmWqg

Yesterday evening I began reassembly, hopefully there will be pics/video to follow soon!

Re:

Looking forward to seeing this back on it's wheels.

Did you also spray the forks? Or are they chrome?
