Denton Frame - Any Info?

Dawes Galaxy 531. Be careful of you try to spring the rear triangle to 130mm as they were a fair bit fragile and will probably break the brazing.I've tried!

Dawes Galaxy 531. Be careful of you try to spring the rear triangle to 130mm as they were a fair bit fragile and will probably break the brazing.I've tried!

Only running 7 speed so 126mm is enough but as a matter of interest, what broke: chainstay or brake bridge maybe?

originalshinkicker is correct, I rode/knew with the original owner of Denton Cycles (RIP Colin) in Newcastle and although the badging does looks like their logo I dont recall them ever actually making bikes. Dentons had a great reputation in Newcastle and a lot of colins customers were rightly loyal and it wouldnt surprise me to see their frames badged this way.

Totally seperate from Hardisty's. Although in this time Hardisty's were sponsoring Jason McRoy and of course Jason knew Colin from Dentons well BUT not connected as shops.
