cycling with a hernia?

Had one on each side ;) Inguinal hernia that is.
Had the first one for years - never troubled me whilst riding - but was painful if I spent the day on me feet.
The op to fix that was the old "open you up and fix it" - very painful afterwards.

More recently, had one on t'other side - op was keyhole and must easier/quicker to recover from.
Again, I rode with that one for some time without issue.
That was patched last April and I was riding pretty hard again in May...

Keyhole is the way to go if you can, IMHO

that sounds a bit like what i have but only one side! my mate had the old style op last year and he also said that hurt. at the moment its not too much of a problem as long as i watch what i do.
