The sound of it, face and teeth vs steel railing is still ringing in my ears

Basically caught the edge of my bars on the railing, which sent me flying face first into the railing... was blinded by oncoming traffic so didn't see the railing. My fault entirely. On the pavement you see . Only just moved to new area and was first venture out on the bike... unfamiliar retirtory and found myself on a one-way street. Was on the way to Stockport station going to work at 6am :facepalm:
