cycling on the pavement

I wish the media would stop using the word 'accident' , it is a 'collision' in all cases.
Someone will be at fault one way or the other.
If only they followed there own guidelines, actually some do but many have agendas of course.

Also unfortunately the police social media and reporters tend not to use it too, so media quotes them.

Ban pedestrians from using head phones and mobiles whilst walking on a shared path.on and black EXTENDING dog leads .
In fact ban everyone and everything.

Ps ban the daily focking wail .
Can only do that if they ban music/phone calls and windows in cars too.

Just ban dogs outright.

Police traffic officers stop using the term RTA years ago , it was replaced by RTC or an incident.
The BBC has yet to catch up . ie in their traffic reports .

It's the suitcases on wheels that people drag behind them that annoy me. Take up massive amount of room on crowded pavements and make it difficult to judge distances for quickly scooting past them.

Used to be quite fond of dogs - but there are so many badly socialised dogs (and owners) post covid now. My rural area is full of dogs that bark incessantly because they aren't used to people/other animals or even the outdoors and don't like being alone during the day. One of my neighbours' dogs is triggered by birds flying the sky or the branches on trees moving. Genuinely think we need a mass cull, and potentially of the owners too.

They also disturb wildlife - particularly on beaches - and crap every fooking where. Centuries from now, we'll come look at this present time as utterly barbaric because we allowed dogs to crap on our streets (regardless of whether the owner picks it up or not).

I'd replace the police with a robot. Who is programmed to do his job and uphold the law. Unlike now they do it when the human wants to do it.

In Cambridge, anarchy has descended…no-one has any idea which pavements you can legally ride on and which you can’t.

So in the light of lack of clarity on that….I think we should ban this…12 year olds setting a Very Bad Example to the generation below them…

well, they aren't on a path for most of it, just over one instead.

We had a big German Shepard snarling, frothing at us straining on the owners lead, to the point we were glad the owner was strong enough to restrain it. The owner said "Sorry he hates bikes" We were on a cycle path, how about don't take the dog where cyclists are?

Extending dog leads are a menace to everyone. The walking dead need a slap round the back of the head as you ride by. Obviously tongue in cheek before Mr policeman turns up. Ring the bell? Just pointless.
