Can anyone help ID this frame and is it still rideable?

Retro Newbie
Hi,
I bought this frame without looking carefully (luckily for $ next to nothing) a few years ago and its been hanging in the shed since. I am just now deciding whether to fettle and build it or leave it be, wondering if the tiny rust holes on the underside of one chain stay mean it's unusable/unsalvageable, I thought so
It's a very light frame at 1580g, the forks are 640g
no rifling in tubes
126mm rear spacing, 27.0 seatpost, 65mm BB shell, italian thread
campag dropouts, rear with porta catena drillings
rear brake cable brazings along top of top tube
No idea the precise age but I assume late 70's or newer because of the porta catena and not later than late 80's because of the rear wheel spacing

Any thoughts/advice welcomed and appreciated 20220207_121408.jpg 20220207_121414.jpg 20220207_121435.jpg 20220207_121508.jpg

I thought so too. Unfortunately so because its a light and pretty frame. Those holes are all in the one chainstay, probably had more water\mosture in it than other partd of the frame

Look like metal termites attacked that chain-stay 😂 which will need replacing……

Nicely put together frame that has been through the wars.
I’d do the sensible thing: A home respray and a wall to hang it on.
