brake/gear cable cutters

I've got the "pro" ones, £18 from CRC.

Not that impressed really, when cutting the spring type outers they tend to bend a little bit of the spring in towards the cable.

Serves me right for buying something called "pro", always a give away as to its true quality.

For the price of the bikes most of us ride its worth investing in some correct tooling,oh and I,ve found Shimano cable cutters to be the best,lost my old set a few years ago and replaced them with Park,which are also good just not as good as the big S.

These are what you need, aviation snips. Cheap as chips, cut through cables easily.

Dont use them on the outer, use a dremel disc for those.
