Just got hold of what looked like a really nice Raleigh Dyna-Tech 600 series frame.
Upon cleaning it though I've revealed the bottom of the drive side seat stay has rusted through. It's only a small patch but has gone right through the tube in one spot. The rest of the frame and paintwork is in really good condition.
Is there some kind of decent bodge that could be done (short of having the whole stay replaced) or is it a binner?
Failing that, is anyone interested in a damaged Dyna-Tech frame to fix up?!
