advice needed - Magura content

It came off without leaving any weld on the stay, hence the reason that I believed the welding to be suspect.

Does sound that way yep. Magura's without boosters though is looking for trouble as they modulate like fu*k.....deffo not there for looks, the more boosters the better with Magura's...hence the reason why the EVOII mounts are far superior to EVO or earlier type mounts...loads of bracing and they enhance the power of the brakes too !!
