Not much to do about that I reckon brother, the way I see it is we can be obsessive about nonsense like that or accept that
1) it'll do nowt to the function of said component so it's fine
2) nobody is inspecting neither wheels or your brake adapter for alignment
3) you're overthinking it

Its not a biggy really, I can’t see it when riding.
But, form is as important as function.
I say you need balance, sometimes it don't look perfect but it looks good enough and it worksIts not a biggy really, I can’t see it when riding.

I have a Sugino Disk 700, with a 130 dura ace Hub . Just need to swap out the axle for a Shimano Xt. and it works correct and perfect line
