1997 Cougar 3rd time lucky

lol... can't beat a bit of off-topic threadjacking :p

Don't think I've heard, seen or otherwise been aware of the quarterstaff since a brief period of participation in roleplaying games like Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons a couple of eons ago.
 
A primitive weapon for the poor, dependant on the size of the carrier they ranged from 6-9ft and were predominantly made from hardwood such as Oak, Ash,Hawthorn and even Yew
 
Finally got out on a ride with this today and I have to say I'm not disappointed it was quick up the hills (for me anyway ;) ) and not overly stiff the forks gave very little vibration.

The weather was good and we managed to get 43miles in :D

Looks great. Honestly, it's a lovely build.

No further comment, especially around the colour of bar tape,cables or tyres.

The polished aluminium forks look "right".
