1996 American Eagle Atlanta - Bart Brentjens replica - p7!

Re: 1996 American Eagle Atlanta - Bart Brentjens Olympic rep

Oh, and Bart has it mounted the wrong way round on his!

I would agree with the ft derailleur being an M735, the saddle is probably a Ritchey Logic as everything else appears to be Ritchey/Cycleurope products. The Logic saddle is a very turbo-esque saddle which looks to match:

Seatpost is more likely to be a Shannon or a Roox.

By the looks of this photo...

the cradle pin is hollow which would point towards Shannon:

USE wasn't a popular racers choice as they were so flexy and were shimmed. Shannon were long, light, strong and the correct size to fit the frame

The cradle pin is silver on Bart's post. Shannon has black pins. Could it be an STM???

Saddle is not a Ritchey if you take a close look at this picture.

could be, or it could have been polished. The reason Shannon sprung to mind was a shop I worked in back in the mid 90s sold Storck and Shannon stuff so they may have shared a distributer (they were both German whereas STM is Italian). Shannon also did a 425mm post that went well with the small frames Storck produced.

Makes sense.... I'll dig into it! ;)

Think the saddle might be from the Selle San Marco Bontrager line...

Found some Gripshift ESP 900. Also got these white Mud Sharks.

Anybody a good tip on cleaning them?

cool, cool. Also being from NL i'm looking forward to seeing this one develop. You have some pointers to sourcing the frame?

I have found the frame... It has a crack and needs to be welded. Think it will arrive tomorrow.

Need to found a good welder now.
