Recently fitted some early Ringle Skewers, as wasn't keen on the campagnolo chorus which came with the Wolber AT400/ Shimano Ultegra 600 wheelset (from a Ti Bolt).

Cool thread. Today my 1988 BV went down some of the steepest, most rocky, muddy, lairy bridelpaths I know in my area.
Because it was covered with road grime from the winter's commuting - last outing before a big clean-up, and I felt that it needed to handle more than just sheffield's potholes.
Did it do any worse than anything else I've ridden?? Nahhh! But my spinal column may never be quite the same again
