I just re-read my last reply in this thread, and I can see how you might think that mauricer. But I just have this 1988 Toad, the other one was sold to another connoisseur. I would have loved to have kept both, but couldn't afford it! The first one was a tig-welded beauty that a friend of mine had ordered for himself back in 1992. I traded a 2011 Trek Fuel 9.9 for that one.



Then a buyer came up for it before I could even build it, and I was able to convince another buddy of mine to sell his 1988 fillet brazed Toad (also original owner) to me so I could keep one for myself. So, Trek Fuel for 1992 tig Toad for 1988 fillet Toad was how I got here!

Took a while to put it together, but I finally took it out for a test spin today. It felt fantastic! Fits me really well too. Looks like I've got another keeper...
