Yep read the article again, not sure why a 1978 frame shouldn't have Portacatena dropouts.

Yep the rolls is 1982 same age as the G40 rims. I didn't like the unica saddle as it doesn't fit my bum sit bones an all that. In 1978 the Professional and Professional SL were fitted with campag 101OB short dropouts so are correct. http://www.nkilgariff.com/HoldsCats/Cat ... ames78.jpg

I have a set of campag large flange hubs waiting in the wings but trying to find the road sprint rims in good condition is proving rather difficult and the Canetti sport tubs are like hens teeth just like the Fiamme Dallas bars so with this in mind I used builders licence and did it my way

Talking about dropouts, Holdsworth blurb seemed to suggest they used titanium dropouts but don't think they ever did....

:shock: I've never came across titanium dropouts either on a Holdsworth where did you see that info ?
