Pace RC300 - ridden

argh! u got me all excited then, but alas, more time to wait :D

glad you finally got all the bits together, hurry up mr postie ;)
 
he he sorry. Rest of bike is there, cleaned and ready, all new parts apart from frame, forks (reconditioned and as close to new as poss) and wheels.

Just need to fit these cranks, add the chain and cable up!

It is a beaut I can tell you and will become my no1 trail bike! Really looking forward to trying/comparing modern kit with old, especially the 2x10 gearing....
 
Pace almost there

Now a pair of handlebar grips away from it's first ' new build ' ride....

Maybe not, the bloody 'mode convertor' switch on the left shifter sheared tonight, staying stuck in '3' rather than '2'. Arse, arse, arse!
 
Panick over and first gentle ride under my belt! Amazing in a word, so solid and precise, put down to the frame and the frankly amazing brakes and drivetrain. Very happy!

First proper offroad ride booked for this Sunday on Leith Hill. Photos to follow.
 
Ridden

Maiden voyage in it's final build state this weekend gone. Got muddy. Final build spec/photos to follow soon.

Kind of got wrapped up with Kleins of late, but still love Pace as much. Got some proper tyres on the Pace today and rode it to work....
