Surprisingly, exceptionally well. It's later 8s XC Pro thumbies, shifting is really precise with M950 cassette in this case. I like these even more than Shimano thumbs due to softer "click" action.

So you run them in SIS rather than friction..

Yes, I run index mode. I thought mixing these parts can't be any good and considered friction as only option but luckily it work a treat.

I run the same Judys on my RM - just reading through the service manual in the archive I notice the travel can be increased from 63 to 75mm - didn't know that!
