It was tragic! The main character, (Tom Howard) actually died (in real life) quite early on but the series went on and on!

I quite enjoyed it and even have the theme on 7" somewhere.

The Jolly Sailor pub (next to Elephant Boatyard) is my local* when I'm visiting the outlaws. Lovely little spot.

* Local defined as nearest pub that I actually go in, rather than literal geographic proximity

Scary thing is ,many of these boatyard/marinas are like that in real life :shock:

Crazy local banter aside.Inverkip marina makes a marvellous chicken sandwich on crusty that could feed a small family for weeks
