Just my opinion:
I think there should be a retroBIKE credo in the eBay and Marketplace Watch Section. If you are NOT SELLING anything in an auction, then KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT  Why announce random miscellaneous items and RUIN chances of great deals for fellow retroBIKE members?
I understand the act of kindness (of announcing/posting), but the purpose of an auction is to ALSO get a great deal, not go into a BIDDING WAR between fellow retroBIKE members.
I know I said I don't like eBay (I still don't), but sometimes a low price/great deal (very tempting) can be had, if NOBODY knows about it. Members helping out other members by letting them know ahead of time, also SPOIL THE AUCTION. Thanks to you, now, A LOT of people know about it, and the ONLY WINNER is the mis-informed seller (<--probably a NON-retroBIKe member).

Now, if you are a seller on eBay (retroBIKE member), then go ahead, announce/post your items.
