Home now, but too dumpsy to take any more pics, so I'm just stroking it lovingly instead. And the Breezer.... :facepalm:
There are a couple of chips out of it, nothing more, and a bit of tape residue. And some rather nice original dealer stickers and a label on the seat tube, in French, as it's come from the South of France (thanks again, paukpity!!)
Will get a load of pics up as soon as the daylight and work hours allow, but for now I'm still a bit stunned....

I don't think so, standard 1996 'Storm', Taiwanese built I would say in the Hodaka factory, going by the frame number....
