Cheap and or chearful, nothing flashy would be nice if it has a skinny slick tube & tyre on it.

Its to go on my new Ribble racer which so far has cost me:
Ebay Bike (exc.front wheel) £25
Courier collection/delivery £11.99
Total so far £36.99

Would be great to keep the total build under £50!

Could you learn to love a tub?
Mavic GP4 on Campag Record hub. Go on, you can have it for £17. As it's such a pant-wetting bargain, you'll have find your own skewer, though, and collect it from my dad's in Henley on Thames.
 
I reckon that could be do-able...one thing, explain "tub"? :LOL:

Oh and £13 would be better to hit the £50 target! :D
