Parker Racing Cycles

Hi

I have this aluminium frame labelled as Parker Racing Cycles, I think it's from the late 90's but I can find absolutely no information on it.

Does anyone know who they were/are?

If this is a rebadged frame does anyone know what it is?

The frame number is N6K17439

Thanks

Re:

Could only find a Parkers of Bolton or Parkers international, a mail order company? Closed down now. Could be one of their frames? Not a Raleigh expert but thought Raleigh first of all. Anyone know if Raleigh sold frames to anyone else?

Serial number with N at the beginning stands for Nottingham, 6 = year and K = July. Older bikes would start with NK6 as a serial number.

Just an idea but not 100% sure.

Re:

It's definately too new to be by that builder; I love the brakes on it.

I think it must be from Parker international, they don't appear to have made their own frames so it would be a rebadged something.

I like the Raleigh idea, that makes sense.

Re:

There's a Jack Parker in Liverpool, Ormskirk that are still going. Raleigh specialists apparently. Might be worth asking them.

I think it would be from the Parker mail order/internet company in Shropshire who would have sourced a frame like this from the far east in all probabililty.

I just think a complete tidy up of your garage is in order............

Re:

It's much worse if you look the other way, a work in progress. My post on the mtb forum documents how messy the dining room is.
