I've used these to refurbish Cyrus Hifi equipment to replace the flaky Nextel finishes.

This maybe more durable than a metal paint and resist flaking, as plastic bumpers are designed so they have to deform.

Just heard back from Zolatone UK who are sending me sample cards to have a look close up. If anyone in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire or Gloucestershire let me has an example of these bikes let me know so that we can offer the cards up.

Secondly, how much paint would be required to paint a bike? They only sell this stuff in a minimum of a gallon which may leave a drop over.

I like that Halfords stuff but how hard wearing is it?

Just to let everyone who has been watching this know, I've just received the samples and they are cack!

They don't look remotely like they do on the net and nothing like whats required.

Hey....i've got a 90' Team Marin which i'm looking to get resprayed with as close to the original as possible....ie zolatone.

I'll try and get up some good pics tommorrow but the catalogue scan shows it pretty much as it is...

If you wanna share costs we could order enough for at least 2 frames in the earlier grey and i'd pay for the later 91' darker zolatone paint too....would be cheaper to send the lot together?

Need the 91' darker grey for my 91' Team Marin....wonder if you folks could help me identify the correct colour for that one too as i'm colourblind

Send me a PM Fluroforks if ur interested.... :)

Oh, and you can but Zolatone paint sprayers very cheaply on eBay....just search zolatone....not sure how good they are as they look v basic but i guess a decent spray shop shouldn't get stuck using it....i'm sure it comes with instructions for application....
