I get that it's their money, I know that we all have a different idea of what to spend it on, that if some has worked hard for it, who am I to suggest what they spend it on.

I know all of these things, and yet, I quite simply do not understand why this exists beyond "look at me". I find it kind of depressing to be honest.

Agree. I think the islabike ones are nice bits of kit but still had to go for a 2nd hand Rothan as even £200 for a balance bike felt steep.... even with a brake
