Sooooo the question is...who did the repaint ? As it looks amazing ! Surely a repaint to that standard cant be cheap and classic Kleins still make strong money professionally repainted.

Good point, for what it's worth I think it's kind of irrelevant whether it's fresh paint or original, if it has been done to a high standard and it does appear to be the case, then that will only serve to bolster it's value.
Just like restored classic cars......

^^ He's into his golf but you never know, perfect colour mix for a ginger dude

Had some banter with the seller early on and asked the $64M question too...no response now...so we have prolly touched a nerve. Agree with Fattiman though, original or not...its freaking stunning and worth top $ IMO...

Personally I can see the high price if it was say a genuine nos or never used original frame and original paint.

Me personally money wise, the amount I would spend on a frame as above would always be higher than a respray as originality is as we know with retrobikes, is where the money is.

Ultimately like most things it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and I'm sure the seller will be the happy with the selling price and the buyer will be happy with what looks like a very high quality respray on a good frame.
