as like many of you i would love to have an eddy in my collection but being new to retro fun and not having seen 1 in the flesh in years, how do you know it isn't?serious question, i don't know how to tell. it might help me when i eventually find one.



you can tell from a mile of it`s a wicked or wicked lite,down tube cable bosses,yo`s always had top tube bosses,also the seat post o/d gives it away

already bought a proflex frame this week and just received a pair of brand knew girvin forks for it!

one build is plenty for the moment but that psyclone could have been nice aswel!

He's talking about the rust issues that are common with the early FATs. There was no hole between the seat tube and BB, so water had no place to go, and often caused the seat tube to rust through. It happened on monsterfatuk's bike.

aahh, now i geddit! i'll go find my dunce hat. quality amount of info coming through today, sorry i don't much about them but they were big when i was still doing paper-rounds so i only ever saw them in the mags etc.

if i do bid though and win, respray would be the order of the day and worst case a new tube! expensive though.

we'll see what happens.
