Yeah.. the ups man just came...with a Fisher CR-7

This was the bike I lusted over way back when all I could afford was my Fisher Advance. At least I have a use for my 1 1/4 wrench now!

A small project for the coming months...maybe looking for some decals.

Does anyone have a 1990 Fisher catalog scan, I wasn't finding any when I was searching the other day.

Duh... never mind I have a 1990 catalog sitting upstairs..

So what can one do with black chrome, can it be polished...is there a way to bring the luster back?

I was talking to Gary Fisher awhile ago and I asked him what his favorite old Fisher bike was and he said it was the CR-7!

If you do anything abrasive with that black chrome, it;l tun into silver matte.

Wash - do not scrub.
