Just sitting here wondering if I've been ripped off... no response to my emails / letters since I sent off payment over 4 weeks ago and no goods either.... cheque was cashed of course!

Been here before.

The chap can be very slow BUT he has always come through in the end if I remember rightly...

I have had dealings with him and he DID NOT come good. Said he had sent a cheque for some Cooks cranks and to this day I have not seen it and the messages in my outbox were unread up until yesterday when I deleted them. This was late April early May.

Seen no posts from him on the forum since mid May, just about the time I sent the cheque off

I'm not stirring things John but when I originally asked about this guy I did receive a pm from another member stating they would not deal with him again because they had to track him down to get what was owed, eventually found him at his place of work through his boss. I am not convinced at all that he does come good.

dealt with him , no problem at all . but 4 weeks is a long time .

@ Trevor : it is annoying to wait for a cheque which never arrives , but at least he did not steal from you .

True, but if it was ebay and you hadn't received payment after so long you would report the seller. I'm just glad I didn't send the cranks in good faith thinking the cheque would come through!

Trevor.

Never send the goods before payment cleared .

I only do it for a few members on here , I have met in person several times .
