XT canti brakes - cable pinch bolt question

Can one of you fine folks take a look at where the cable pinch bolt threads into the caliper on an M730 or similar brake please?

Is it plain aluminium or is a steel thread insert fitted as standard?

Shimano has been helicoiling threads for a long time. Even my BR-MT62 has a helicoil in the cable clamp thread.

I think Shimano helicoils or uses inserts for all the critical, high torque fasteners. The picture above is of a cantilever that I bought second hand off Ebay, but both of them have helicoiling, and the NOS Shimano cantilevers I bought had helicoiling as new, so defintely not a repair. The Shimano dérailleurs I own have inserts on the cable clamp bolts.

Just grabbed a box of NOS M734 cantis to check, I can confirm that Shimano uses helicoil
