Planning a build for my wife for Christmas and so I'm looking for a small frame to base it. She's about 5' 4" so I reckon somewhere around 14" / 15" / 16" would be good. She's not a hugely confident cyclist so I'm after something with a relatively low standover, like a jump frame or one of the newer geometery type XC frames (top tube slopes steeply from headtube to rear triangle). Been looking at chuckers, handsome dog, kona chute, etc, etc. Could be happy with a smaller framed retro as well (got more bits and bobs around for those).

Anyone got anything lying around they don't need? Budget is v. v. limited (based one a few tyre sales) so cheaper the better and as it's, hopefully, going to be a suprise I could do with being able to collect.

Anyhoo... let me know! (PM if need be)

Many thanks. :)

Saracen xcell 2004 or viper sick boy 2007 both roughly 14/15" would have to measure to be exact. Saracen £30 posted Viper £50 posted

Viper did around 40-50miles before I took it apart for parts it was stored in spain from new so its in lovely condition saracen has led a far more aggressive life

Got a small frame Scott Windriver circa 1991 the wife use to ride, all stock original apart from a squidgy womans gel saddle from the same era, I can measure it next week (it's currently at my work workshop) and will need a couple of tyres but apart from a good clean up (hung on garage wall for lots of years) it's ready to ride (I checked everything out and lubed it up a couple of years ago for her to use twice on the road before it was hung up again, pm me if your interested.

whole bike £80

Can send you a whole bike for 80 quidish depending on postage.
specialized hardrock with rockshox judy xc. Specialized stout hubs on mavic 221 rims, tioga xc tryes. Fairly basic gearing. Needs a new seatpost and its ready to roll, gears might need a tweak.

Not found anything yet - anyone else? :) Still skint... as we all are... and absolutely sick of missing frames on e-bloody-Bay :)

Cheers for both of those. :) Both a bit out of my measley budget though (unless some bugger buys my Barbour :D )
