wtd cheap pr of 27" wheels or just rims and 23.8 seatpo

i am on the look out for either a pr of 36hole 27" rims or a wheel set would prefer alloy but would accept chromed steel .

also need a couple of 23.8 mm seat post stems or shims to take smaller dia posts

must be able to offer postage and must be cheap


anybody got any to offer

I have some that I haven't got round to restoring just yet... the chromed rims require wire brushing inside and the outsides require wire wooling with Autosol, and the alloy Maillard solid axle / small flange hubs need a polish & regrease (rear is 5-6 speed threaded). I'd estimate that they are late 1970s - early 1980s vintage, can check for you. Would be looking for £20 + postage or I could restore and true them for you for an extra £15 :?: :idea:

I also have a single alloy Wolber rear 27" wheel and a vintage chrome 27" Strumey Archer front kicking around... been looking to either sell or match them up via this forum but not got round to it :roll:
