Whyte PRST4 in near original condition

Mbrads

Retro Newbie
Rare opportunity to preserve a piece of British mountain biking history.
I bought this bike new from Bike in Bristol in May 2005. All the original paperwork is shown. Everything is as it came out of the shop apart from the usual consumables (tyres, cables, chains etc).
The Hope discs work perfectly, still giving 1-finger stopping. The mechs and shifters are all XT and work great. I've basically ridden this once or twice a year in the last 8 or 9 years, but I couldn't bring myself to part with it. However too many N+1 means something has to give, and this takes up the most room and gets used the least.
There are two small paint chips (shown) on what you might call a top tube, due to lock incidents, and a bit of cable run on the front fork. Other than that the paintwork is all good.
I'll even include Preston, who the bike was named after!
£995

Re:

I think you should give this to incorrigible because he's a great guy.

Regards,
Preston

Seriously, though, that's an absolutely beautiful bike! 8) 8) 8) GLWS.

Cheers,
Frank

Erm what's the price ??

Don't worry. A mod will come along and be wagging his finger in disapproval.

Re:

Mbrads,

What's being implied here is that if you don't put a price on it, then the moderator is going to either delete or lock this thread.

Myself, of course, I'm inclined to agree with Preston.

Re:

I added a price. Sorry, I'm aware of the rules, but I copied the text from elsewhere and in that forum the price is in a separate field. I forgot it hadn't also copied.
