Hi peeps up for grabs is my Whyte PRST 1 she is equiped with fox float front and rear, full xt group set, original carbon bars and hope disc breaks, hope hubs, panaracer tyres 1.8's with red side wall's.The frame has a few stone chips from general wear and tear and there is some evidence of chain suck wear as well but this to be honest is a given with the prst1.

The down side is that 4 months ago I had a slight off at leith hill wich has bent the front fork at the so the fork will need replacing but is still available from ATB : ) also in the crash the skewer has bent in the front wheel again still available from ATB.

All in the bike will take no time to fix and will be generally cheap to do so also with the front fork costing around £120.

So get your hands on a future collectors Item and one hell of a bike

am looking for offers around £350

Regards Alex

there is one on ebay at this momment £385 with xtr and no crash damage

also given the complexity of the front forks, if you have done enough damage to bend the quite thick forks then I suspect more damage is there..have you had the mounting points/pivot points, linkages and tolerances checked?

because so far your saying £120 to repair, for the forks to take that much of a hit and not cause issues elsewhere would be incredibly lucky

do you have a written estimate on the fork repair to confirm the £120

I am interested but given the "slight off" that was enough to bend the forks on something built like this..i don't think it is unreasonable to ask for quotes by a shop if you have quoted them. Thanks

Everything else on the front set up is fine other than the fork and skewer have had a few people look including previous prst owners and they have mentioned that the fork is a week point, the accident as I said wad a slight off at less than 10mph at the very top of windy willows trail at leith hill. I simply entered a gully and the wheel got caught in a root. The forward momentum caused the skewer to bend in turn adding stress to the head of the fork. Will add more pics tomorrow. As I said the rest of the front end is fine.

Hi remember me? I was there at Leith Hill the day you crashed it. Didnt think it would cost alot to fix judging by the way it looked. Have you still got my number? If not PM me as I`m interested. I spoke with Whyte and the £120 for the forks to me seems reasonable.
Hope you made it back to the car ok mate. How you crashed there at such a slow speed still makes me wonder and laugh.

Hope to hear from you soon.
