Who used internal cable routing?

I remembered a frame I used to own earlier which had internal (the rear brake at least) cable routing. The outer and inner cable went through the steel frame. There was a polo (mint) shaped reinforcing ring around the cable entry point this only stood proud of the frame by 1mm or so.
I got it from a Police auction and it had been hand painted grey. I thought at the time it be a Saracen but never found out for sure.

Any ideas what it could be?

Post up some shots of it please.
circa 1991 Saracens had internal routing for the rear brake on the top tube.

I don't have any pictures.
A lot of my bikes are just memories :(
For some reason I remembered this frame last night and was wondering what it was.

It definately didn't gave a triple triangle!

Probably was a Saracen then, it was something like a 15" frame but weighed over 7lbs if I remember correctly!

Really wish I had records of my old bikes :(

There where quite a few others, Klein for example, but given you think it was a Saracen it probably was.
I think my old man's black one had internal on the top, early 90's

This is my 1991 Saracen Sahara SS with it's internally routed rear brake cable.

Was it anything like this one?

That sounds just like a '91 Saracen, I'm halfway through building one up just now.

Yes, it was the same as the yellow one above I think, even the forks look the same!
Thanks!

I really wish I could remember what I did with it!
