Who the f**k is al carter build

Seat post and stem arrived today which allowed me to get the seat and handlebars fitted. Got the derailleur cabled up and gears indexed. Shifts really nice with the short cage derailleur. Brakes on tomorrow hopefully.

She rides like a dream! Soooo much lighter than the raleigh it blows my mind how heavy that is compared to the al carter. Having ridden it about for a few days I'm really missing the front cargo rack and few other bits that just make it easier for my life. I found a really cool 90s water bottle on bankrupt bike parts along with a cage. I set about making a new rack with some stainless bar I had laying about then a waft of spray paint got me to the point of fitting the cargo rack off the raleigh. As with the raleigh it's a dad bike and has to be able to carry shopping, commute and tow my boys trailer around. I'm glad I went for the v brakes. I just wanted to try them more than anything as I've never had a bike with them on. Promax v brakes with avid levers stop this bike beautifully.
