I picked up this Al Carter Sidewinder yesterday, it's still in the back of my car so the photo is from the sellers advert on Gumtree. At first glance it seems to be in good condition for its many years, the seller said it was bought for his daughter but she never got interested in bikes and so it's been in the shed for the last few decades.
For £35 it will be ideal for going to the gym, Parkrun on a Saturday morning etc and not having to worry about leaving it locked up anywhere (not something I'd be comfortable doing with my more modern Orange P7 29'er).

I'll give it a once over in the next day or so, but it shouldn't need much doing to it, all the basics checked out when I went to view/buy (brakes & gears all work, wheels are straight, seatpost moves freely etc).
Sunglasses on....
