Which suspension for '95 Pine Mountain? Opinions sought...

Not yet, it's still rigid. Ended up putting the Mag21s on a DB WCF, and Real Life has rather got in the way of having much cash for bike bits.
Keeping an eye out for some '94/95 Manitous at a price I can afford, hopefully at a time I can afford them!

I have Z4 Flylights on mine, and same thing, huge improvement over the Manitou 4’s (even with speed springs). So light as well

Maybe this thread may help? He’s looking to swap, but who knows:
Swap thread

Or this ‘99 Flylight fork

Being that arthritic wrists are an issue I suggest a front suspension that is less prone to stiction. From my experience RockShox fit the bill more so than Manitou. A Girvin flex stem is a brilliant idea, maybe even both the fork and stem.

Where are you located? I am in the middle of a project that will yield a spare Manitou 4. I also have a spare RockShox Quadra (circa 1991). If you live in the ConUS I'd be happy to see either or both go to a good home.

If it was me I’d go with manitou they just seem to go with marins so well and the connection with manitou
