Although i voted for the sus option,may i suggest you use the rigid,to get the bike running and fettle it then,then service the manitou, fitting them when they're done

Great minds etc etc, as you can see that's exactly what I have just done this afternoon.
Got the long allen key and now for some elastomers.

Still not sure what to do eventually though, incidentally I have got the original box for the Manitou's and surprised to see they were £365 back in 1993
