Which 1973 Worksop-built Carlton might this be?

I've recently acquired this single speed / fixie conversion and all the seller could tell me was that it was a "70s Raleigh"

The serial number is Worksop September 1973 so I'm assuming it's a Carlton...

Perhaps the lugs will give someone a clue?

I think the seller said 531 as well but that might have been referring to the Super Mondio I purchased at the same time.

Could the third digit of the number be an 8 which is half covered in paint so it looks like a 3 ?

This is a 1978 onwards Pro Am Corsair (I think)

I've gone over the SN with a dental pick and it's definitely not an 8...

A bit more research and I'm starting to think the following:

1973 Worksop built "Raleigh Professional" which were built at Worksop but badged as Raleigh.

The MK1 to MK4 of the Professional were built in Worksop from 1968 to 1976 then the MK5 was produced in Nottingham by the SBDU division.

Possible?

Seat stays into Seat post looks wrong though...

Unfortunately the whole frame has had any "unnecessary" holes neatly filled and sanded prior to painting...

The lugs are defo correct though on the Corsair

It'll be 1983 as I don't think they started that system til 1974.
