Falcon Fan
So I’ve got a dilemma. The pump on my Falcon was originally mounted under the top tube using Matex plastic pump pegs. The diameter of the top tube is 25mm, but I’ve only been able to source 28mm replacement Matex pump pegs. They will fit the seat tube.

I have managed to pick up some black metal 25mm pump pegs, so I could use those on the top tube.

So the question is which way should I go?

Mount the pump under the top tube in its original position, but use non-original pegs, or mount it on the seat tube using pegs matching the original but in a different position?

I should say that I need to replace my original pump pegs as they are cracked, and I’m concerned that they will split and drop my pump on the road.

Use Topeak pocket rocket pump or CO2 Inflator cartridge unless you want your pump on the frame......

Re:

Might not have been elegant but a 50s RRA on a 93" fixed gear was a pretty fast pump carrier!
The guy still owns it despite me offering to give it a good home.
